Many Iranian writers in exile write not only in farsi but also in the language of their host countries, many others need to be translated in other languages. Editorial l'Aleph aims at supporting Afghan and Iranian writers in both ways.

Iran Open Publishing Group was founded in 2006 with the aim at publishing works of Iranian and Afghan writers in Farsi or other languages without boarders. The Group was inaugurated in a joint action with the Else-Lasker Schüler Society and the Exil-Archiv based in Wuppertal.

The Group is organized in various editorials, which involve the writers not only with their own works but also as reviewers and editors on others’ works. Each of the editorials follows an own editorial program, which outlines its framework of operation.
